The slann are an exceedingly ancient and wise race who once held great power in Nanvaent,
though now their influence is slipping as they are often very old-fashioned in their
opinions and unable to accept new ideas. In appearance they seem to be somewhere between
human and newt, being of human size and build, but with leathery green, grey or brown skin
and blunt, amphibious features.
